Urban beekeeping in Quebec City
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the widening Saint Lawrence River, Québec City is admired world-wide for its architectural gems and unique historical heritage. But tourists aren’t the only ones roaming its narrow, winding streets. Buzzing above them, the city’s bees indulge in a delicious ecosystem of linden trees, staghorn sumac, and apple orchards.
Meet Québec's beekeeping team manager
Benoît fell instantly in love with the finely structured superorganism that is the hive. Bees inspire him daily to share his passion with as many people as possible. Sports enthusiast, he rarely stays still. Don’t hesitate to say hello to him on bike paths, in parks, or when he takes care of bees on city rooftops. Originally from Trois-Rivières, it is with great pleasure that he settled in the Belle Capitale in order to reconnect people with nature.
