Come June, urban bees roam the city’s modern glass skyscrapers and lush lawns on the lookout for Himalayan blackberry, clover, wild sweet peas, and asters.

From falconry to environmental education, and aviation to beekeeping, Tanya’s career compass has been oriented to positions that challenge her and take her outdoors. A native Montrealer, Tanya now calls Vancouver home and since 2019 she has helped establish Alvéole in the Lower Mainland.
